Here’s something that absolutely confounds me: Why does deodorant/anti-perspirant stop working?
Every few months, I find my brand of choice kicks out. And I stink. I used to switch brands and that didn’t help.
Then I did a little research. Seems like you have to check the ingredients and make sure they have different ingredients. Total blonde moment.
Now I have a collection of deodorants with the Aluminum ZirconiumTetrachlorohydrex GLY. These I am now most immune to.
I invested in Mitchum with it’s aluminum sesquichlorohydrate and Secret with aluminum zirconium octachlorohydrex.
But I know in a month or so, these will stop working and I’ll need another switcheroo.
Does anyone else have this problem? Is it that the body builds up an immunity to the ingredients? Why do they stop working? I tried to Google this and didn’t find any satisfying answers.

I think as we’re moving into the warmer months, it’s natural to sweat more. I’m not sure what to recommend- have you tried wearing lighter clothing, perhaps? Good luck with this!

I definitely delayer in the summer, but the problem is working out, I sweat a ton. It’s just bizarre that my body seems to develop an immunity over time to each type. Some people have to switch every year or two. But me, it’s like every three months. Guess I’ve got a special biochemistry going on.
