I hate winter sickness. It seems to take forever to come on and lingers even longer. After the stomach virus and triple migraine, I’m now in the midst of a sore throat, minor laryngitis, swollen glands, chest tightness, and a dry horse-like cough.
And I’m tired. As if I’ve lived a dozen lifetimes and they all caught up to me this week. My mind is absolutely loopy. Like I open the fridge door and don’t close it. Or I put the butter knife in the garbage instead of the dishwasher. Or my personal favorite, I go into the bathroom and forget why I’m there.
The only upside to all this unhealthiness is I get to cuddle in bed with my dog and watch tv or nap.
